Today I rang the clinic and asked for an updated quote. Our bank account is looking particularly healthy after months of saving and we think we're not too far off being able to afford another round of IVF treatment.
This will be our last attempt - unless we win Lotto, which is unlikely because we don't play Lotto! At this early stage, all I can really do is assume it will be successful. Otherwise it's pointless to even try. I really can't imagine life without the possibility of having a child ... but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
